DETAILED ITINERARY

 

1

Day 1

Arrival at Delhi

 

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Early morning after breakfast proceed for Jaipur. On arrival, proceed for Jaipur half day city tour. Amber Fort, standing tall over a small hillock overlooking the Pink city, Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort-Palace. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride, all the way up to the Fort entrance. Later visit to the Maharajas City Palace - the former Royal residence - part of it converted into a museum. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum, housing an impressive array of weaponry -pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. Also see the miniature items and old carpets at the Textile Museum. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone-and-marble-crafted Observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the Observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Drive past to Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace). Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

After Breakfast, visit the world famous Taj Mahal - built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 years to complete this Love Poem in Marble. (Friday closed). Later proceed towards Sadar Bazaar for shopping. Depart for Delhi by surface, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Entrance Fee for foreigner – INR 530 per person. No entry fee for children below the age of 15 years (both Indian and Foreigner). Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Day 5

Full day Delhi City Tour

 

After breakfast, proceed for full day Delhi city tour. Later in the evening enjoy shopping at Chandni Chowk and dinner at Karims Restaurant. New Delhi: Visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower in India , built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; India Gate – A War Memorial Arch. Also drive past the Presidents House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place – the heart of New Delhi and a busy shopping center. Old Delhi : Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India; RAJ GHAT- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and Drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Departure to Dhaka

After breakfast, transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination
