Share This article A holiday heartbroken father and his wife have been left devastated by the news of their holiday heartache.
“It’s a very emotional thing,” said Stephen, of Sturt.
“We have just been on holiday and we were talking about it and then we went home and found out we had lost our mum.”
Stephen said his wife’s funeral was held at St Mary’s Anglican Church in the city’s south.
“The church is a small church but it has so many people that are close to each other, so I just thought it was a fitting way to celebrate with the whole family,” he said.
“I’m just so sorry.
It’s hard to explain.
I can’t believe it.”
The couple are looking for ways to help other families cope with heartbreak.
“There’s no way we can go on without family,” Stephen said.
