The Buffalo Bills (5-5) took care of business against the Indianapolis Colts (5 to 4) Thursday night to improve to 4-0 in Week 4.
The Bills defense held Colts QB Andrew Luck to three receptions for 44 yards while also stopping seven rushes and three passes.
The win moved Buffalo into a tie for first place in the AFC North with the Cleveland Browns, who have a bye this week.
The Colts had a slow start to the season, but are starting to get back on track after a rough 2014.
They allowed the fewest points in the league in Week 3, and are now 11-3 since then.
The Colts also scored 17 points on Buffalo in Week 1, but this week they outscored the Bills 17-0.
“We’re not as bad as we were last week,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said after the win.
“It’s just getting back on the right path.
We’re moving the ball better and playing good football.”
The Bills will face off against the Cleveland Indians (5.5-4) on Friday night.
The Indians had a bye last week, and will now have three weeks to rest and rest up.
They’ll take on the Detroit Lions (5) on Sunday.
The Lions were on a bye, but will be back in action against the Washington Redskins (5).
The Redskins will also be in town on Friday.
