A ‘floated’ holiday starlet is reportedly the first of the “Frozen” characters to be an actual nail artist.
Anna Kendrick is the first Disney princess to be featured in a “floating” holiday nail art line, the Hollywood Reporter reported on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for the company said she is a member of a “Floating Holiday Art Team,” but that she will only be able to do “floated” nail art for “one Disney Princess” per year.
Anna has appeared in Disney’s animated films “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “Aladdin,” but her “Frostbite” performance in “Fulcrum” will be her first in a live-action film.
According to the Hollywood Rep, a “frozen” “floater” will cost $60, but they will be limited to two per person, with the other costs including “frostbite spray, nail polish remover, nail varnish, polish brush, nail scissors, and nail clippers.”
Anna’s “floaters” are currently available online for $39.99, but the exact cost is unknown.
According a 2014 profile of Anna in the book “The Frozen Queen,” the singer-actress wore an “Fashion Floss” and her “Floater” collection was described as a “complete package.”
“Anna was always wearing some sort of nail polish, but she had never really had a chance to go into the nail art shop to actually do it,” Kristin Smith, the author of the book, told The Huffington Post.
“And she wanted something that looked beautiful and she was confident in.
That was the inspiration behind the entire collection.”
Anna has previously collaborated with other Disney celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Zendaya and Chloë Grace Moretz.
